Where did that year go? July 15, 2016 our Lincoln Von Brown turned 1 year old. Her party was at Hollow Acres golf course and she was surrounded by friends and family. Lincoln was blessed by everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to attend. While family is important sometimes the greater joy in life is friends. I say this because they attend things because they want to and not because they have to.
We will forever be thankful for those friends that turn into family.
Lincoln and I have a very strong bond. People will tell you I have her spoiled and maybe that is the case, maybe not. I was determined when she was born that she would know who I was. It was important to me that she not be afraid of me or know me a stranger. Did I spend way too much time with her in the beginning? I think there is no such thing as spending too much time with your grandchild. She is the love of my life and I will not regret or apologize to anyone for her identifying me as a safe person in her life.
I never dreamed that my heart could hold as much love as it does for Lincoln. Will there be room for other grandbabies that follow? OF COURSE, and I will love each one with the intense love that I have for Lincoln.
As you can see we are two peas in a pod and I hope that relationship follows us both til the end of our days! I love you forever LVB....
